Black tide

This piece shows how a dense sludge of crude oil, whose origin remains unknown by authorities and experts, devastated Brazil’s beaches in 2019 in the worst oil spill in the country’s history. Tools used: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Illustrator, QGIS, jQuery, Tabula, Excalibur, Python (pandas).
