Germany's floods
In July 2021, floodwaters wrought destruction across Germany and Belgium. On Seilbahn Street, in Altenahr — a small town in the German mountains — whether one lived or died came down to split-second decisions or simple luck. In this piece we told the story of each resident of the street and visualized the aftermath of the floods. Tools used: OpenStreetMaps, QGIS, Illustrator.
