Unsettled
For many Afghans, escaping the Taliban in 2021 was only the beginning of the journey. In this piece, we tell the story of their search for a new home, a task that sometimes took them to multiple countries before they could settle. Using data collected by The Post from dozens of countries, this story also visualizes where in the world Afghans have gone since the Taliban took over Afghanistan. Tools used: Illustrator, QGIS.
